Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers State and Lekki, Lagos State.

Description of function:
  • The HR Officer will support the Company in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Shall be responsible in advertising staff vacancies, assess applications, interview applicants, administer selection tests, prepared report and make recommendation to management about staff appointment.
  • Shall be responsible in analyzing the skills and qualities required for each job role and duty statement.
  • Shall be responsible in determining staffing numbers, skills and needs to meet the organization’s objectives by engagement of the various HODs
  • Shall be responsible in arranging and conducting staff training (both in house and external)
  • Shall be responsible in fulfilling employee relations roles within the company, performing various tasks and functions designed to ensure positive relationship between the company and members of its workforce.
  • Shall be responsible in recording, maintaining, planning and managing the organization’s human resource process.
  • Shall be responsible in Advising company leadership about such matters and steps to ensure compliance within the workplace
  • Shall organize employee welfare service such as health and wellbeing programs and social activities
  • Shall advice on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefit
  • Shall handle proper processing of payroll deductions and ensuring that payroll records are properly maintained

Criteria for Application
  • HND/BSc. in any Social Science Course from a good/reputable University.
  • Candidate must be resident in Port-Harcourt State.
  • Minimum of 2 year’s relevant Experience in the job role.
  • Knowledge of Labour Law and its application
  • Highly organized and excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work successfully and achieve results with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess strong integrity character, strategic planning, decisiveness & sound Emotional intelligence.
  • Result Oriented and self-driven.
  • Proactive approach skills to tasks/ problem solving skills.
  • Ability to produce clear written reports utilising data and information as necessary.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent Communication & Great Interpersonal Skill
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • NYSC Certificate is required
